The first single from my new album is out now! It’s an arrangement of “Heart and Soul” by Hoagy Carmichael. I recently my second album as a bandleader. It’s a trio record with Jorge Rossy on drums and Tom Farmer on double bass and we did it in Begues, a small town near Barcelona. Much more info and content to follow, but needless to say I felt very lucky to play with such amazing musicians in such a beautiful setting. Here are a few iPhone pics from the session:

I had an amazing time playing with Michael Kanan over the last few weeks. It was brilliant to play with someone of that calibre night after night, and it was special for me to play my first gigs as a bandleader outside of the UK.
